Hidden Past Time: I love all things art, albeit fashion, interior design, etc.
Unusual hobby: I thoroughly enjoy doing yard work and writing.
Most famous person I've met: I randomly met Jerry Springer. I remember approaching him and saying "Sir, you look familiar. I can't recall where I know you from."
Ask yourself these questions:
Are you tired of just surviving and ready to start thriving?
Are you ready to unpack what’s been holding you back?
Are you living on purpose—or just going through the motions?
Athletes:
Are you ready to train your mind the way you train your body?
Are you performing at your peak mentally, or just getting by?
Hello! Before I get started, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit with me today. I don’t take that for granted, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Eddie St-Vil, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
I was born and raised in southwest Florida, but in 2014, I followed my passion for helping people to Baton Rouge. Since then, this city has become home. I currently serve as the Assistant Athletics Director of Training and Leadership Development for LSU Athletics, where I have the privilege of supporting student-athletes in their mental health, leadership, and overall holistic development.
As both a higher education professional and therapist, I’ve been fortunate to work in spaces that allow me to meet people where they are. My educational path includes a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida, a Master’s in Higher Education Leadership from Valdosta State University, and a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Louisiana State University.
Over the last 10+ years, I’ve worked in a variety of roles that have shaped how I show up for others. As LSU’s Senior Case Manager and Threat Assessment Specialist, I supported students experiencing crisis, high levels of stress, or distress, while also helping the university assess and respond to potential threats. At the University of Florida, I served as the Associate Director of the Care Area, where I led trainings around intervention and threat identification, worked closely with students in crisis, and supported individuals navigating Title IX processes.
As a therapist, my approach is rooted in empowerment, growth, and practical support. I believe in helping people tap into their strengths, unpack what’s getting in their way, and move toward the version of themselves they’re striving to be. I specialize in working with athletes and mental performance, victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, men and healthy masculinity, and individuals navigating challenging situations, but ultimately, I’m here for anyone ready to do the work.
So I’ll ask you:
Are you ready to become the best version of yourself?
Is it time to stop playing small and step into who you were really meant to be?
Are you ready to do what it takes to not just change yourself, but change your world?
If that resonates with you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on this journey. With the right tools, accountability, and support, I truly believe you have what it takes to grow, lead, and thrive.
Your journey to a transformative experience starts NOW.
